6/9 Thoughts and Prayer

"I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!" Psalm 116:1-2 (NLT)

I like the NLT version of this verse. It pictures me of Jesus literally bending down towards me, to keep his ear right next to my mouth, to closely hear what I have to say to Him. He is just so careful and caring. He knows my dumbest, smallest things I get worried about.

Thank you for helping me get through this week again, LORD. What can I sacrifice for You, to show You my gratitude for all You've done for me! Nothing I do can equal. Your life is too much for me and I live in gratitude every day.
